‘Boycott Kerala’ would be the trending slogan of the week, as recent events were unraveled about Kerala’s plans to execute the STRAY DOGS of the area – NOT PET DOGS!!!!!. Well everyone has been protesting against this; here are 10 reasons why Kerala should go through this and get the job done.

In the movies, it is portrayed that dogs cannot cause harm to humans but in real life, they might as well bite

Stop blaming KERALA for what’s happening. Kerala had ordered ONLY TO KILL RABIES INFECTED DOGS that would have died in 10 days. Fake news and people making racist comments about KERALA aka God’s Own Country, can’t be tolerated.

We don’t justify killing but we ensure the safety of humans as the main priority.

This is absolutely wrong .. As much as you’ll blame dogs to be like this humans are also to be blamed if dogs come in the way out of nowhere in the middle of a moving vehicle what abt the road accidents caused because of breaking the traffic rules by the humans themselves ? If you’ll blame dogs for breeding .. Tell me India is the second largest country where population is increasing ri a very High level , the garbage spread by dogs ? That is they r hungry and they need food, humans should at least have the humanity to feed those hungry dogs ,if can’t give them a home.. Feed them on the streets , and what about the garbage dumped by humans themselves ?
Dogs create nuisance at. Night by waking up humans ??? Where do humans let other humans sleep peacefully anyways ?
They form gangs and turn into a fight ??/don’t we see the same situations happening betweens humans themselves ?? What about the rapes ? What about murders ? What about road accidents ?? Isn’t that wrong ?
They spread rabies .. Yes they do.. But if u family members or anyone else has a disease ? Would you kill them directly ? Or take them to a doctor and get them treated ? They bite innocent people ? What about the humans who kill each other ? Because of revenge as murders ?
These are dogs ? They are animals who dont have brains like humans but they have a life a heart and they do love unconditionally , whereas humans who have brains and heart and evrythn are still unsatisfied and won’t find unconditional love betweens humans… There a lot of factors like racisms.. Sex differentiation , inequality .. But these dogs see evrybdy equally… I’m against this post absolutely against it. Doesn’t make sense at all.. And please stop killing animals.

    The almighty has created them and has all the rights of deciding whether should b living or no , not humans like us , because on the other hand you would say no one has the right to take your life so does this implies on animals as well , we are no one here to decide whether the animals have to be killed .

      It’s easy to say all these stuff. When you get a bite from one of the rabid dogs, things will change. And about killing animals, why don’t you all raise voices against slaughtering goats and cows for food? Why is just the dogs? I love dogs and I have two pets but you need to be practical at times. Letting a rabid dog loose on the street is not doing anyone good. And yeah, if you have time just visit general hospital to see the plight of dog bitten humans.

        Just getting bitten by a dog doesn’t mean the dog is rabid. How many people can practically identify a rabid dog from a normal one? If a dog bit you, as an educated person, you need to backtrack why it bit you. The most likely reason is the way they get beaten up by humans for no reason at all. So finally they bite a human out of pain, agony and intolerance. And while speaking of intolerance, I must say that the Indians in present times are such expert in it that it’ll definitely bow down the heads of the dogs out of shame. No doubt in it. However, it also needs to be checked if the dog is suffering from some other problem. It may cause it pain, and out of restlessness, it might bite someone. The proper procedure is to call the authority to take the dog away and check on it at the clinic. There’s always a system to do things properly. Instead of that we just do whatever we like randomly. That’s because Indians are never taught of it. They are masters of anarchy.

        Yes, getting bitten doesn’t mean it’s rabid. But will you not go to hospital and take medication and stuff? And about the system… Like every law or bill or plans Government passes, how many gets done in a proper way in India? How long should people wait for it? People start to do things on their own because they are tired of waiting. And it’s not fair to point all fingers to Kerala. There were videos and proofs from other states showing people doing harmful acts to dogs..Main one affected me was the unknown guy killing puppies in different places of Bangalore caught on CCTV camera. Do you see anyone creating strikes or shouting slogans against Bangalore? Things have been happening in every state for a long time. Media/Tourism lobbys take incidents and use them for their benefit and have fools going behind them.

        If the govt. doesn’t act, then people need to stand up against the politicians and bureaucrats who are responsible for the collapse of the system. Why can’t you people protest against them? Rather, people are taking bribes from those very politicians in gold coins. When your govt doesn’t fall in a system, then how come gold coins are being paid? Where’s the money for them coming from? Another sign of lawlessness along with corruption. Instead of killing the innocent (though infected, but not willfully) animals, why don’t you Keralians stand up against these socio-political epidemics? This year saw a huge surge in dengue infection. So tell me, when a patient suffers from an epidemic in Kerala, do you kill them right away and start killing everybody associated with them, i.e. their neighbors, friends, community members, religious members, everyone? And as you said “People start to do things on their own because they are tired of waiting,” so, if a Keralian is found to commit a murder or rape, shall we start killing all Keralians across the country assuming the fact that Keralians are rapists and murderers? I hope it’ll be justified according to your own logic, isn’t it? Moreover, if you’re justifying this indiscriminate culling of the dogs because of their overpopulation, then look at the crammed buses, autos and trains where people are hanging in flocks like bats. What about that? Are animals responsible for this too? Don’t you view this scenery everyday in Kerala? Compare the no. of heads in that crowd to those of strays. I’m pretty sure the humans will render the strays in shame in this context. So why don’t you kill all those flocking humans now? They are collapsing the society of this country way more than animals. Tell me, if you’re so bothered about the cleanliness about your streets, why’re there beggars, vagabonds and street dwellers there? They pollute the streets too. Why haven’t your govt taken any action on this account? Also, when you’re tired of govt inaction and waiting, why don’t you kill all these street people too? That’ll solve a hell lot of misery, isn’t it? There’re wads of questions that can be pitted against Kerala the way it is going about, and it’s in no position to come up with any logical answer. Remember, India is a diverse country, it has its difficulties and there are problems everywhere. But that doesn’t give authority to a handful of fringe elements to spearhead an illegal movement against the constitution of the nation by provoking people with falsification. And regarding people harming animals in other states, it’s sporadic. People of those states don’t promote it, neither does the govt allow the public to run on an animal killing spree induced by gold coins or bribes of some other kind. Rather, whenever such an incident is reported, the Police act instantly and the judiciary reprimand with extreme detestation and abhorrence. General people too are compassionate on animals. Various organizations comprising of kids through senior citizens work in tandem with the respective govt agencies for the welfare of the strays. It serves the society both ways, the stray population remains under control and dwindles gradually, on the other hand, the streets remain clean. Animal Birth Control programme combined with that of waste management is the only way to eradicate the stray problem. That is how it goes by in all developed countries. It’s not just the govt’s responsibility, it’s that of the civilians too. If Keralians would have been doing the right thing, everybody would have appreciated them. But instead of that, they have garnered the anger and hatred of not just the whole country but the world too. This clearly proves that they’re at the wrong end. So, instead of trying to fight back meaninglessly, they should accept their fault, introspect their actions and mend their wrongdoings in a positive manner so that Kerala gets back its lost respect and love from the world.

(How many readers have experienced a dog jumping at you while in signal?
We should kill them because it rarely happens.)

(Haha..do you think the animals care whether you are innocent or guilty? If its ill treated, it will surely defend) Since it is defending, you should kill all stray dogs in Kerala!

3.They create nuisance.
(Hmm..may be I should think about killing some young guys near my area as they create nuisance all day)

4. They spread rabies.
(Dogs spread rabies, Mosquitoes spread malaria, humans spread AIDS…We should kill them all.)

But remember we are a part of ecosystem and we depend on them indirectly, if the ecosystem fail, we die. Killing any of the species will not solve anything , but create more new problems.

  I agree with you. How can this writer complain about dogs making so many babies when the people are popping out babies left and right as well. Look just neuter as many dogs as possible and get the rabid ones or dangerous ones off the streets. They say their dog population is out of control. Well so is their human one!

This page itself is a disgusting one that reveals the incoherent and irrational mentality of the author. It’s quite apparent the writer doesn’t have any proper understanding on ANIMAL STERILIZATION, or for that matter, animal science. All the points mentioned above are out of context, because they all talk of the outcome, not the reason behind it. The author should rather go for some backtracking and detailed analysis. Kerala isn’t the only state where there are dogs. Dogs are at other places too. Why is it that no one speaks of 100 or 200 dogs hunting and killing on humans anywhere else? Because that’s baseless and illogical. Dogs are territorial and no one has ever seen a pack of 100 or 200 dogs living together. That’s utterly absurd. Stop spreading such nonsense. Instead, ask the authorities where’s the money allotted for animal sterilization going? That’s our money. We pay it to keep our streets clean from strays. If the dog population on the streets of Kerala is in millions (which I’m sure isn’t), then what did the govt. do with the assigned money for so many years? Did anybody ever thought of it? It’s quite clear where the money has gone and has been going. Instead of holding the politicians and bureaucrats by their collars the stupid people are culling the innocent creatures who has no role in their birth.

But then again, when the Indians themselves don’t want to live with each other in harmony, it’s only stupidity to expect them to pay any respect to the animals. The whole world is watching the pseudo-literate Indians fighting and killing each other on petty issues like religion, gender, food and even river water. Two states of the same country are fighting over river water. I mean, who thinks like that? Which era are we living in? What kind of ignoramus talks of claiming ownership on a river. This is what happens when a country is overpopulated. Those freaks are dying out of worry on dog population. What about the human population of this godforsaken country? It has reached such a level that the nation can’t even provide basic necessities to its populace like food, clothing, shelter and medicine, leave alone education and other amenities. Youths are deprived of job, unemployment is at an epic level resulting into uncontrolled crime. Will culling dogs solve these problems? No one’s talking of these issues. The root of all problems in this country is humans and their over-population. They spawn like mice and rats wasting oxygen on this planet and making it more and more dirty. Instead of killing dogs, stop your own proliferation. That’ll solve more than half the problems of India.

I can give you 100 reasons why humans..including you, your family and me, should be killed ahead of any dog. But that wont be required. Any person who advocates lack of empathy for other living being (in the false awareness that they are lesser than humans) is advocating an unsustainable world..in other words, advising killing of his own future progenies.

The reason I found this article was because I had googled stray dog attacks. The reason I googled that was because my husband and I were chased by 2 really scary stray pittbulls yesterday while on a bike ride and they nearly knocked us off the bikes. I knew if we stopped because they blocked a large part of the road we would be bitten. So we jetted past them as fast as we could . My husband who was behind me got the worst of it. They nearly knocked him off. These dogs were no joke. They were big, muscular, mad and hungry. Shitty trailer park assholes always want to get a pittbull then end up raising it to be mean cause the person is mean themselves and then abandons the dog at their convenience. These type of people need to die. Yes the dogs were scary, but they wouldn’t have even been there if it wasn’t for some shitty human. I’d rather the person who abandoned those dogs be put down instead! If we had been hurt yesterday they would have been the cause. Dogs are like toddlers. They don’t know any better, but humans do. They knew those dogs could kill someone & they just let them roam out there.
